City Cat Fix Spay/Neuter Program


This program was established to provide free spay/neuter to feral (wild) and outdoor, community that are reproducing in the City of Lynchburg.  All feral or wild cats will have their ear tipped; for community cats it is optional.

How to participate: If you live in the City of Lynchburg you can take advantage of this great program. Contact the Lynchburg Humane Society 448-0088 to make and appointment through our transport or call our spay/neuter clinic 821-4922 if you want to take the cat directly to our clinic for its appointment.

Yes, we will fix Kittens as young as 3 months/3 lbs.
Proof of residency will need to be established so please bring with you a picture id with your address or a bill with your name on it.

Do you need a trap or help trapping? We have 25 traps available through our new program. We can also provide education on how to trap and informational handouts to assist you in catching the feral (wild) cats in your neighborhood. We will ask for a deposit check of $50 that will be held and given back to you when you return the trap.
